Balsam Fir

Abies balsamea or balsam fir is a North American fir, native to most of eastern and central Canada (Newfoundland west to central Alberta) and the northeastern United States (Minnesota east to Maine, and south in the Appalachian Mountains to West Virginia).

Benefits: Anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, expectant, Vitamin C, and to reduce anxiety and promote sleep.

Bergamot

Citrus bergamia, the bergamot orange, is a fragrant citrus fruit the size of an orange, with a yellow or green color similar to a lime, depending on ripeness.

Benefits: Reduces anxiety, and stress, alleviates depression, promotes nutrient absorption.

Black Pepper

Black pepper is a flowering vine in the family Piperaceae, cultivated for its fruit, known as a peppercorn, which is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning.

Benefits: Warming, Anti-Inflammatory, Supports Immune System

Cade

Cade essential oil, also known as prickly juniper, is a shrub of which the twigs and wood are steam distilled.

Benefits: Alleviates itching; psoriasis; eczema; seborrhea; and skin conditions caused by parasites, hair loss, scalp conditions, and cancers

Calendula

Calendula is a genus of about 15–20 species of annual and perennial herbaceous plants in the daisy family Asteraceae that are often known as marigolds.

Benefits: Anti Inflammatory, Antioxident

Ginger

Ginger is a flowering plant whose rhizome, ginger root or ginger, is widely used as a spice and a folk medicine.

Benefits: Energizing, Enhances Concentration, Relieves Anxiousness, Alleviated Fatigue

Jasmine

Jasmine is a genus of shrubs and vines in the olive family. It contains around 200 species native to tropical and warm temperate regions of Eurasia, Africa, and Oceania.

Benefits: Jasmine can help put people in the mood for love and enhances the libido. Jasmine as a sedative calms the mind, body, and soul. It brings out positive and constructive emotions, which helps with stress, anger, anxiety, and depression.

Lavender

Lavandula is a genus of 47 known species of flowering plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae. It is native to the Old World and is found in Cape Verde and the Canary Islands, and from Europe across to northern and eastern Africa, the Mediterranean, southwest Asia to India.

Benefits: Seratonin, Stress, Relaxation

Lily of the Valley

Lily of the valley is a woodland flowering plant with sweetly scented, pendent, bell-shaped white flowers borne in sprays in spring. It is native throughout the cool temperate Northern Hemisphere in Asia and Europe. We use a simple accord to mimic the aroma of Lily of the Valley in our fragrances.

Benefits: deeply skin nourishing and often used in skin care blends for bringing freshness and vitality to the skin, and at the same time helping heal minor scars, sores, eczema, and surface wounds.

Magnolia

Magnolia is a large genus of about 210 to 340flowering plant species in the subfamily Magnolioideae of the family Magnoliaceae. It is named after French botanist Pierre Magnol.

Benefits: Calming, reduces redness, anti inflammatory

Myyrh

Myrrh from Semitic is a gum-resin extracted from a number of small, thorny tree species of the genus Commiphora. Myrrh resin has been used throughout history as a perfume, incense and medicine. Myrrh mixed with posca or wine was common across ancient cultures, for general pleasure and as an analgesic.

Benefits: Anti-Depressent, Supports Skin Health and May Help Heal Sores, Combats Pain and Swelling, Mood Lifter

Neroli

Neroli oil is an essential oil produced from the blossom of the bitter orange tree. Its scent is sweet, honeyed and somewhat metallic with green and spicy facets

Benefits: Soothing effect on mood

Orange

An orange is a fruit of various citrus species in the family Rutaceae. it primarily refers to Citrus, which is also called sweet orange, to distinguish it from the related Citru, aurantium, referred to as bitter orange.

Benefits: Seratonin, Stress, meditation, Vitamic C

Peppermint

Peppermint is a hybrid species of mint, a cross between watermint and spearmint. Indigenous to Europe and the Middle East, the plant is now widely spread and cultivated in many regions of the world. It is occasionally found in the wild with its parent species.

Benefits: Relieves Headache, Heals Energy, Improving Mental Function

Plumeria

Plumeria, known as frangipani, is a genus of flowering plants in the subfamily Rauvolfioideae, of the family Apocynaceae. Most species are deciduous shrubs or small trees.

Benefits: Eases stress, relaxes muscles and calms nerves.

Sandalwood

Sandalwood is a class of woods from trees in the genus Santalum. The woods are heavy, yellow, and fine-grained, and, unlike many other aromatic woods, they retain their fragrance for decades.

Benefits: Relieves stress and anxiety, Cooling effect

Sichuan Peppercorn

Sichuan pepper 花椒, also known as Szechuan pepper, Szechwan pepper, Chinese prickly ash, Chinese pepper, Timut pepper is a spice commonly used in Sichuan cuisine. Despite its name, Sichuan pepper is not closely related to black pepper or chili peppers. It is made from plants of the genus Zanthoxylum in the family Rutaceae, which includes citrus and rue.

Benefits: Stimulate the immune system, to reduce pain, increase blood circulation, and reduce inflammation

Tuberose

Agave amica, formerly Polianthes tuberosa, the tuberose, is a perennial plant in the family Asparagaceae, subfamily Agavoideae, extracts of which are used as a note in perfumery. Now widely grown as an ornamental plant, the species was originally native to Mexico.

Benefits: Effective aphrodisiac, Mood Enhancer

Tumeric

Turmeric is a flowering plant, Curcuma longaof the ginger family, Zingiberaceae. The plant is a perennial, rhizomatous, herbaceous plant native to the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia that requires temperatures between 20 and 30 °C (68 and 86 °F) and a considerable amount of annual rainfall to thrive. Plants are gathered each year for their rhizomes, some for propagation in the following season and some for consumption.

Benefits: Relieves Allergies, Depression, Mood lift, increased energy

Vanilla

Vanilla is a spice derived from orchids of the genus Vanilla, primarily obtained from pods of the Mexican species, flat-leaved vanilla.

Benefits: Has a calming effect on the brain, which helps with stress, insomnia and irritability

Vetiver

Vetiver is most closely related to Sorghum but shares many morphological characteristics with other fragrant grasses, such as lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus), citronella (Cymbopogon nardus, C. winterianus), and palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii).

Benefits: Relieving stress, repells insects.
